Gibson is a hardworking part Māori man living in Blenheim.  He starts the day early, hard at work in the vineyard.

There is a stillness to the home he now dwells in, alone. We see the different parts of his life pieced together in images. Although there is an emptiness to the house, it is also full of memories and a life lived to the full.  Gbson has a strong sense of gratitude, and a true appreciation of the small moments of joy throughout the day.

His father lives in an identical house and represnts a similar life, with different circumstance. Jack at 80-years-old, is still active and lively.

The film ends with two road bikes roaring down an open road, weaving through the rich landscapes of Marlborough valley in New Zealand. As they come to a stop one rider removes their helmet, it's Gibson. The second rider removes his, it is Jack. This is the way this father and son spend their weekends. They look upon the landscape, and as they do a look a genuine appreciation spreads acros Gibson's face.
